HOW IMPORTANT IS IT?
Before practicing this Twelve Steps program, I would retire from others
because they would not always accept my opinions or ideas. Now, I have
learned to communicate with them without imposing my thoughts on them. I try to
respect their opinion and perhaps in doing so, allow them to discover their
own value and the role they can play in life. It teaches me to listen to a
new and different point of view and appreciate the help they are trying to
give me.
Every time I feel offended, I ask myself: How important is it? "If you are
wise, you are wise for yourself." Proverbs 9:12.
